Data Sources & Attribution
Where our listing information comes from, and the credits for open data we use.
This page explains where the information in our directory comes from, and credits the people who made it available.
Where our listings come from
- Business owners. Anyone can list their business on our directory free of cost and manage it from their own account. Listings created or claimed by owners are maintained by them.
- Our own team. Listings added and checked in-house.
- OpenStreetMap. Basic location details for many listings — business name, address and map coordinates — come from OpenStreetMap, a collaborative mapping project built by volunteers around the world.
OpenStreetMap credit
Map and location data on this website is © OpenStreetMap contributors, made available under the Open Database License (ODbL). Full licence details are available at openstreetmap.org/copyright.
Every listing built from this data carries the same credit on its own page, along with a link back to the original OpenStreetMap record, so the source of each individual entry can always be checked.
We do not copy other directories
We do not scrape or copy listings from other commercial business directories. Everything published here either comes from the business owner, from open data that explicitly permits reuse, or from our own research.
Is a listing wrong? Is it yours?
Imported listings are marked unclaimed until the real owner takes them over. If a business belongs to you, open its page and use Claim this business — claiming is free, and once verified you can correct or complete every detail yourself.
If you spot information that is wrong and the listing is not yours, please write to us and we will look into it.
